SMS Terms
Current Version: 1.1.0
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
Effective Date: October 30, 2026 for new customers and users. For existing customers and users, this version applies after any required direct notice period and acceptance or consent.
1. Heyday Schedule Notifications
Heyday Ops LLC ("Heyday", "we", "us", or "our") offers an optional SMS notification program for United States users aged 18 or older of our employee scheduling service. When you subscribe and the SMS program is enabled, Heyday sends recurring, automated text messages about published schedules, shift assignments, and shift changes for the organization associated with the account in which you subscribe. If you use separate Heyday accounts for different organizations, each account requires its own enrollment. Messages identify Heyday as the sender and may identify the organization and include a link to your schedule. This program does not send marketing messages. Saving your consent records your enrollment; it does not activate SMS delivery or mean a confirmation text has been sent. Messages and enrollment confirmations may remain pending until messaging is enabled.
2. How You Subscribe
To subscribe, sign in to Heyday and add your United States mobile number in your profile. Open Notifications and verify your number if prompted, then return to Notifications. Select the optional SMS consent checkbox and choose Subscribe to SMS. The checkbox is not selected by default. Verifying your number does not subscribe you. By submitting your subscription, you agree to these SMS Terms and consent to receive the schedule notifications described above at your verified number. You must be authorized to use that mobile number.
Consent is not a condition of using Heyday or purchasing a service. Creating an account, accepting our general terms, being added to an organization, or providing or verifying a phone number does not subscribe you. Your employer or organization cannot subscribe you on your behalf. We keep a record of your subscription and consent choices.
3. Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies with schedule publications, shift assignments, and shift changes. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's terms and rates apply. Contact your carrier if you have questions about your text or data plan.
4. How to Stop Messages
Reply STOP to any Heyday schedule notification to stop all Heyday schedule texts to that number. You may receive one final text confirming your opt-out. After that, Heyday will stop sending schedule notifications to that number unless you reply START to remove the block. You can also turn off SMS schedule notifications in Heyday to cancel your enrollment for that account and organization.
Heyday uses a shared schedule notification program across its customer organizations. Replying STOP stops all Heyday schedule notifications to that mobile number, including notifications associated with other organizations you belong to. You can continue to use Heyday without receiving schedule texts.
Replying START to the same Heyday number removes a previous STOP block and resumes only enrollments that you previously authorized and have left enabled. START does not enroll a new number or reactivate an enrollment you turned off in Heyday. To subscribe after turning off SMS in Heyday, return to your notification settings and complete the SMS opt-in again. If the number is also blocked because you replied STOP, reply START before subscribing. Changing an in-app preference cannot remove a STOP block.
Contact support@heydayops.com if you need help withdrawing consent. We honor valid withdrawal requests as required by applicable law; nothing in these SMS Terms restricts a legally permitted method of withdrawing consent or extends the time allowed by law to honor a request.
5. Help and Support
Reply HELP to a Heyday schedule notification for help, or email support@heydayops.com. For questions about your schedule or employment, contact your organization. SMS replies are not monitored for schedule requests or changes; use Heyday to view or manage your schedule.
6. Delivery and Your Phone Number
Text messaging may not be available through all carriers or devices. Messages may be delayed or undelivered because of carrier, network, device, or other conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on SMS as your only source of schedule information; view the current schedule in Heyday.
Keep your phone number current and turn off SMS notifications before giving up or transferring your number. If you change your number in Heyday, complete a new SMS opt-in for that number.
7. Privacy and Authentication Messages
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your mobile number and consent records. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share SMS consent for third parties' own use. We may share the information needed with messaging providers and carriers solely to operate this program on our behalf.
Phone verification and two-factor authentication texts that you request are separate from this schedule notification program. Requesting an authentication code does not subscribe you to recurring schedule notifications.
8. Related Terms and Updates
These SMS Terms supplement the Master Services Agreement. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. We will give affected subscribers at least 30 days' direct advance notice of material changes by email or an account-specific notice in Heyday, identifying the change and when it takes effect. Notice only to an organization's administrator does not replace notice to an affected subscriber. We may give shorter notice only where reasonably necessary to address an urgent legal requirement or security risk, and will give notice as soon as reasonably practicable. If a change requires new consent, we will obtain it before sending messages under the changed program.
